Life as a student means more than studying all day long. At Twente University there is one single card that gives you the opportunity to participate in sports and culture in Enschede: the Xtra-card.

The Xtra-card gives you a great range of choice in Sports and Culture. With the four additional cards you can even get more choice.
Joining a sports or cultural association is a fun way to be active beside your study. The main reason to join is of course to participate in your favorite sport or cultural activity but apart from that, joining an association also means lots of fun, parties and other activities.
You also have the opportunity to organize an activity for your association thereby developing your own organizational skills. You could join a committee or maybe even take place in a board. Everything is kept on track by the umbrella organizations: the sports council and the cultural council ‘Apollo’, both governed by students.
